For me, art has always come naturally.

I started drawing in first grade, mostly Dragon Ball Z characters. I wasn’t good, of course, but I loved it. Over the years, I got better. And better.

The first drawing I ever sold was in seventh grade. I sold it for R5. I don’t even remember what it was—but someone wanted it, and that meant something.

Then I lost touch. Got distracted by music… and girls. I still drew from time to time, but it wasn’t serious, and honestly, I wasn’t that good anymore.

Then in eleventh grade, I bought my first proper sketchbook and got back on the wave. I still had a lot to improve, but it was enough to win an art award at school. I drew a giraffe. Not the best giraffe in the world, but good enough to silence the competition.

Since then, I’ve realized I enjoy painting and digital art more than drawing. Why? Because I can create freely without the pressure of expectations. With drawing, I often feel like it has to be exact. If it doesn’t look identical to what I imagined, it messes with me. It becomes stressful.

Don’t get me wrong—I can handle pressure. But don’t pressure me about my Art.
